Milano, cosmopolitan, cutting-edge in fashion and driven by art, becomes the protagonist of the latest exhibition by Pietro Terzini, "Are you in love? No, I’m in Milano", hosted at the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana. Curated by Antonello Grimaldi and presented by the Glauco Cavaciuti Gallery, this is Terzini's first solo exhibition in a museum, marking an important milestone in his career.

The title of the exhibition encapsulates a sentiment that is both universal and deeply personal: to the question "Are you in love?", the answer can only be "I’m in Milano". It expresses presence, urban experience, and a personal emotional space that goes beyond conventional expectations of romantic love.

The exhibition is immersive and interactive, inviting visitors into a 360° experience where art, text, and city life blend together. Terzini's works often incorporate luxury brand bags such as Prada, Hermès, Miu Miu, and Louis Vuitton, accompanied by handwritten messages that transform these symbols of desire into tools for reflection. Neon lights animate phrases throughout the exhibition space, creating playful, ironic, and thought-provoking interactions. Among these are confessions like "Sometimes I lie", warnings about social pressure such as "It doesn’t matter what I do, someone will always judge you", and sharp reflections like "I met her in her mess". One neon even declares, "You’ve probably seen this painting a thousand times", while others provocatively assert, "This is not art."

These textual interventions, combined with mirrors, paintings, and everyday objects, turn the exhibition into an interactive dialogue. Visitors are invited to move, observe, reflect, and participate in the playful yet thoughtful experience that Terzini constructs. Each piece becomes a glimpse into the collective unconscious, made up of thoughts we all share but rarely express. The exhibition functions as a mirror of contemporary life: ironic, humorous, yet also profoundly introspective.

Although Terzini has long collaborated with various brands and began his career years ago, this solo exhibition offers new perspectives and unexpected insights. Each work is a commentary on communication, advertising, and social perception, revealing the subtle ways in which messages circulate in our daily lives and in our collective imagination.

The exhibition is enriched by the playful interplay of neon lights that guide the gaze, creating an atmosphere where city, art, and personal reflection coexist. Milan itself, with its elegance, contradictions, and cosmopolitan energy, becomes a character in the narrative, reminding us that life, like art, is layered, ironic, and multifaceted.

From the perspective of Rosato Studio & Agency, we believe that where communication becomes art, art also communicates — and this exhibition is a perfect example. In addition to the works, the event included playful details that added value and depth to the experience: bottles with phrases in the same ironic and reflective tone typical of Pietro, and engraved glasses in harmony with the overall aesthetic. These elements enriched the exhibition space, merging the historical charm of the gallery with Terzini's modern artistic vision.

The article is accompanied by photographs taken during my visit, offering a personal glimpse into the atmosphere of the exhibition. In the future, it may be enriched with official images from the gallery team or professional shots, allowing the publication to evolve along with the exhibition itself.

We thank Glauco, Pietro, and Antonello for the invitation and for allowing us to participate in this unique experience. "Are you in love? No, I’m in Milano" is a celebration of presence, reflection, and poetic irony. Pietro Terzini reminds us that art is not just to be observed — it is to be lived, interpreted, and felt, inviting us to embrace the authenticity, complexity, and playful contradictions of life in a vibrant city like Milan.
